Sebastián Del Val
Landscape Photographer
Sebastián del Val is a native of the NOA (Northwest of Argentina).
His passion for landscape photography borns through the daily contact with the environment where he grows up, in the surroundings of the city of Salta, among mountains and rivers. A nature that molds his character and generates a natural connection with the culture of his land, with its ancestral traditions.
His love for these places led him, in 2008, to start his own adventure as a certified travel and photographic expedition guide, based in Salta for the entire Argentine Northwest, Chile and Bolivia.
He perceives nature as a magnet, a lure that invites one to meet his own soul. To start a journey in the mountains, he says, is to start an intimate and personal conversation.
Sebastián is very grateful for the possibility to live from his passions and to be able to accompany, during his photographic expeditions through the valleys of the Puna, curious and respectful people, lovers of nature.
For years he has been an active member of the Puna Argentina Foundation, an NGO that aims to preserve and improve the social and environmental conditions of the native peoples living in the Puna territories of Salta, Jujuy and Catamarca.
